    Francis Marion University women’s basketball head coach Jeri Porter has announced the addition of 5-10 guard Bionka Massie of Memphis, Tenn., who will transfer in to FMU with three years of eligibility remaining.

    Francis Marion University baseball coach Art Inabinet has announced the signing of shortstop Sam Stonskas of Eldridge, Iowa, for the upcoming season. Stonskas will transfer from Black Hawk College and will have two years of eligibility with the Patriots.

    Francis Marion University softball coach Stacey Vallee has announced the addition of third baseman Ashtyn Patterson of Andersonville, Tenn., and third baseman/outfielder Jordan Carlson of Council Grove, Kan., who will both transfer to FMU for the 2019-20 school year.

    For the sixth consecutive year, the Francis Marion University women’s tennis team has earned All-Academic Team recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. In addition, four Patriot players garnered Scholar-Athlete recognition from the ITA: sophomores Nikita Berger and Fredrika Regner and freshmen Denise Hartmann and Eva Zannier.

    Francis Marion University senior Lars Sandvoll has been named to the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars list for the 2018-19 season. The announcement was made recently by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

    Francis Marion University baseball coach Art Inabinet has announced the addition of outfielder Jon-Mitchell Carter of Hamer, S.C., to the FMU program. Carter comes to the Patriots after spending a red-shirt freshman season at Coastal Carolina University and will have four years of eligibility at Francis Marion.

    Francis Marion University baseball coach Art Inabinet has announced the signing of three junior college transfers – infielder Tyler Mangum of Durham, N.C., first baseman Darius Nobles of Greenville, N.C., and right-handed pitcher Bailey Wendel of Oviedo, Fla. – to national letters of intent to attend FMU this fall.
  • 113 FMU Student-Athletes Named to PBC Presidential Honor Roll

    The Peach Belt Conference announced that 1,517 student-athletes have been named to the 28th-annual Presidential Honor Roll. The list includes a record 113 student-athletes from Francis Marion University. Each of FMU’s 14 sponsored-sports were recognized on the list.
  • Patriot runner Driggers named Google Cloud Academic All-American

    Francis Marion University junior runner Emma Driggers has been selected to the prestigious 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country Team for NCAA Division II. The Mauldin, S.C., native was named to the 14-member second team.
